First Floor Bar Open: Mon - Sat 5pm - 3am Sun 12pm - 12am

We have recreated the warmth & friendly atmosphere of a Traditional Irish Pub at Drummoyne.

We've transported the style of The Crown Liquor Saloon on Great Victoria Street, Belfast all the way to Victoria Road, Drummoyne. The Crown was built in 1882 and survived 42 bombs during the Troubles. Rumour has it that the original proprietors were a married couple, the wife Protestant, the husband Catholic. They argued about the name and the wife won, so it was called The Crown (a traditional symbol of British rule in Ireland).

To get his revenge the husband built a mosaic of the crown on the floor of the entrance, so as they stumbled out the drunken punters would be stamping all over it.

Our new bar has been decked out in rich timber with intricate carved wood, stained glass detailing and gold leaf inlays and in good Irish tradition, we have Happy Hour every night! We also offer fabulous food at reasonable prices. Enjoy a relaxed Bar Meal or choose from our a la carte menu in upstairs at The First Floor Restaurant. And there is a grand library, upholstered with sumptuous velvets and brocades, the ideal place to catch up with friends over a coffee or a cocktail.
